The School of Forest Resources & Conservation offers three majors: Forest Resources and Conservation(FRC), Geomatics (GEM), and Natural Resource Conservation (RCN). Students wishing to major in
Geomatics can be admitted in two ways: as a freshman immediately after
completing high school, or as a transfer student after earning 60 or more
transferable college credits from a community college, junior college, or
other 4-year university (an Associate of Arts degree from a Florida
institution is encouraged, as it will satisfy all general education
requirements). Please refer to the deadlines for
admissions to make sure you get your applications in on time. Admission
as a Freshman Students wishing to begin at the Admission
as a Transfer Student: Minimum
Requirements - completion of the UF foreign language
requirement and the CLAST test - completion of the listed courses with a 2.5 GPA, including
all attempts at a course
